Jo

Founder, Registered Veterinary Nurse

Director of Purr-sonalised Care

Jo is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 30 years of experience working with cats in just about every imaginable capacity. From mischievous kittens to wise old whiskered souls, Jo has seen (and loved) them all.

Starting The Cat’s Whiskers felt like the natural next step — a way to combine her lifelong expertise with a genuine love of cats, while offering a truly top-tier, personalised cat-sitting service.

Jo is organised, responsive and honest and holds everyone to very high standards of care. She is a stellar communicator and has dedicated her entire career to the care of animals.

Outside of cat-sitting, Jo can be found exploring the countryside on horseback or bike, or behind an easel in her South Cambs studio

Jan

Resident Cat Whisperer,  Purr Generator

Jan joined the Cat's Whiskers clowder in 2025 and to say she is a cat lover is an understatement.

She currently is owned by two stunning Maine Coon kitties and is a Cat's Whiskers client herself.. so she knows how important the customer service side of things is to our clients

Jan has a calm quiet energy about her which in our opinion, you either have or you don't..  and this bodes well for our feline charges,  particularly those who are a little nervous, they are just drawn to her kind energy

When she's not kitty sitting you'll find Jan admiring all things "Arts and Crafts" and travelling with her husband . She can also be found having plenty of fun at music festivals with a cold drink in hand!

Laura

Registered Veterinary Nurse  Trusted Purrfessional Carer

Laura, is the most recent addition to the Cat's Whiskers and brings a wealth of experience to the team. Her attention to detail is legendary and we have yet to find a situation that Laura can't handle!

Along with being a consummate professional ( as we all are! ) Laura is also kind and genuine and has an affinity with animals who warm to her readily.

Having worked with Jo in a different capacity for a number of years it was a natural ask when Jo needed some help!

Laura is skilled, responsible, easy going and reliable, It is just a bonus that she happens to be a lot of fun too!

Outside of the Cat's Whiskers you'll find Laura out and about riding horses, walking her beautiful dogs and organising everyone's days out . In fact in another life Laura would have made a brilliant events planner - so Cat's Whiskers Xmas party here we come!!
